Rules

The Virtual Fan Swing is a tournament series, consisting of four virtual closest-to-pin tournaments, played on the Great Northern in conjunction with the Danish Golf Championship, Crans-sur-Sierre GC in conjunction with the Omega European Masters, Le Golf National in conjunction with the FedEx Open de France and Jumeirah Golf Estates in conjunction with the DP World Tour Championship. Entrants will have 3 shots to land as close as possible to the pin on the selected hole in a Trackman simulator or at a Trackman Range in each Virtual Fan Swing tournament.

Hole selection:

– Great Northern: 9 (played as 18 during the Danish Golf Championship)
– Crans-sur-Sierre GC: 8
– Le Golf National: 16
– Jumeirah Golf Estates: 17

Each entrant’s best shot will compete against the best shot from the DP World Tour players on the same hole during the first round of the corresponding DP World Tour event, taking place on:

– Danish Golf Championship: August 13, 2026
– Omega European Masters: September 3, 2026
– FedEx Open de France: September 24, 2026
– DP World Tour Championship: November 12, 2026

The first three tournaments serve as qualification events, while the fourth tournament serves at the final and open exclusively to those players who have landed closer to the hole than the best shot from the DP World Tour players in at least one of the first three tournaments.

The first Virtual Fan Swing tournament starts on August 10, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and ends on August 23, 2026 23:59 pm (CET), the second Virtual Fan Swing tournament starts on August 31, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and ends on September 13, 2026 23:59 pm (CET), the third Virtual Fan Swing tournament starts on September 21, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and ends on October 4, 2026 23:59 pm (CET) and the Virtual Fan Swing final starts on November 9, 2026 00:00 am (CET) and ends on November 22, 2026 23:59 pm (CET).

Entrants should be aware of the start/end dates and time of the competition to make sure they have enough time to complete their attempts before the competition ends.

On Trackman Range and in Trackman simulators, the pin will be in a back-mid position (182 meters/199 yards) in the first Virtual Fan Swing tournament, in a short-left position (146 meters/160 yards) in the second Virtual Fan Swing tournament, in a back-left position (168 meters/184 yards) in the third Virtual Fan Swing tournament and in a back-left position (194 meters/212 yards) in the Virtual Fan Swing final.

Entrants must be signed in with their Trackman account in order to participate and be registered on the leaderboard.

If you do not already have an account, please download the Trackman Golf app and create a profile before going to your local Trackman simulator or Trackman Range.

If an entrant has not created a Trackman account before going to the Trackman simulator or Trackman Range, they will be prompted to create a Trackman account.

Once entrants have created a Trackman account and registered either through the tournament website or the Trackman Golf app, they are eligible to play.

In a Trackman simulator or at Trackman Range, entrants should sign in (using the Trackman Golf app and QR code or entering account credentials manually), then select Tournaments, then "Virtual Fan Swing".

Before being allowed to play in the competition, entrants need to accept the Terms & Conditions.

There is no fee to enter. Entry into the Virtual Fan Swing tournaments automatically signs you up for the DP World Tour and Trackman newsletters.

If two or more entrants are listed on the leaderboard with the same distance to pin, please note that the entrants' rankings are based on a more precise measurement than what is displayed on the leaderboard.

Entrants are not eligible for prizes unless they are signed in with a Trackman account. All prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

There are 5 categories of prizes:

Prize Category 1: Participants whose best shot finishes at the same distance to or closer to the hole than the best performing DP World Tour player in any of the first three Virtual Fan Swing tournaments will earn a spot in the Virtual Fan Swing final.

Prize Category 2: Participants who make a hole-in-one in any of the Virtual Fan Swing tournaments are awarded 2 Season Tickets to a DP World Tour event from the following: 2027 Genesis Scottish Open, 2027 Husqvarna British Masters, 2027 Amgen Irish Open, 2027 BMW PGA Championship or 2027 FedEx Open de France. Season Tickets are valid for the full tournament week. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.

Prize Category 3: Participants whose best shot finishes at the same distance to or closer to the hole than the best performing DP World Tour player in the Virtual Fan Swing final will be entered into a draw where one lucky winner will earn a £200 DP World Tour Store voucher. If no participant’s shot is closer to the hole than that of the best performing DP World Tour player, the draw will instead be open to all participants who successfully land on the green.

Prize Category 4: Participants whose best shot finishes at the same distance to or closer to the hole than the best performing DP World Tour player in all four Virtual Fan Swing tournaments are awarded 2 General Admissions tickets to a DP World Tour event from the following: 2027 Genesis Scottish Open, 2027 Husqvarna British Masters, 2027 Amgen Irish Open, 2027 BMW PGA Championship or 2027 FedEx Open de France. General Admission tickets are valid for one tournament day. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.

Prize Category 5: The Trackman indoor and range facility with the highest number of participants across the first three Virtual Fan Swing tournaments will each win 2 Season Tickets to a DP World Tour event from the following: 2027 Genesis Scottish Open, 2027 Husqvarna British Masters, 2027 Amgen Irish Open, 2027 BMW PGA Championship or 2027 FedEx Open de France. Season Tickets are valid for the full tournament week. Travel and accommodation costs up to $1500 are included.

Winners will be contacted by DP World Tour via email to receive their prize, once all results have been processed by Trackman. Please allow some time from the competition to end until the winners have been determined.

All information submitted by entrants is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with Trackman’s Privacy Policy, which is accessible on the Trackman Golf app or at https://www.trackman.com/legal/privacy-policy as well as DP World Tour’s Privacy Policy, accessible at https://www.europeantour.com/privacy-policy.

This includes the publication of Trackman usernames on public leaderboards relating to the tournaments which will be featured on Trackman’s and DP World Tour’s website, social media and elsewhere.

Anyone age 13 or older during the participation period can participate in the competition and win prizes. This age requirement is dictated by European personal data protection rules and regulations. By participating in the Virtual Fan Swing presented by DP World Tour and Trackman, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and confirm that they meet the eligibility criteria.

Entrants are welcome to practice prior to the event as the tournament courses are already available. Find your nearest Trackman-powered commercial facility to practice and play.

Except where prohibited, winners consent to the use of his/her name, photo, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation.

All entrants are expected to compete in the tournament with integrity and in the spirit of fair play. Any form of cheating or attempts to gain an unfair advantage will not be tolerated.

Trackman reserves the right to disqualify entrants suspected of cheating or breaking the official rules.
