Full-bag Attack Angle and Low Point arrive on Trackman iO
Trackman iO continues to raise the bar for indoor golf and coaching.
Attack Angle and Low Point are now available across the full bag on Trackman iO, including irons and wedges. That means players and coaches can now access even more of the data that matters, all with the precision and consistency expected from Trackman.
This update builds on the introduction of Attack Angle for woods and hybrids late last year and makes Trackman iO an even more powerful game improvement tool. From dialing in wedge contact to optimizing iron play and understanding strike patterns throughout the bag, Trackman iO users can now learn more from every swing.
"Every new data parameter has to earn its place in the Trackman ecosystem," said Fredrik Tuxen, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Trackman. "Attack Angle and Low Point are incredibly valuable for coaching and player development, but only if the numbers are accurate enough to trust. That's the standard we held ourselves to before bringing them to the full bag on Trackman iO."

Attack Angle measures whether the club is moving up or down at impact, while Low Point measures where the club bottoms out relative to the golf ball.
For coaches, these parameters provide a better understanding of what’s happening at impact and what needs to be adjusted. For players, they mean clearer feedback and more productive practice sessions.
Measuring impact conditions on shorter clubs presents different technical challenges than measuring them on woods and hybrids. For example, we found that accuracy could be affected on some ground hits (i.e., when the club strikes the turf before the ball). Because we only deliver data that coaches and players can rely on with confidence, we’re choosing not to show data on those hits.
"We've had a lot of customers asking for this,” Tuxen added. “It's something we've wanted to deliver as well, but first we had to make sure the data quality level was up to Trackman standards. Now we're at that point, and we're excited to put it in people's hands."
