A Beacon for
Indoor golf in Japan
Hokkaido may be widely known for its winter sports and beer, but something else special is brewing on Japan’s northern island. Rising in Sapporo, THE EAGLE GOLF has emerged as one of the world’s premier indoor golf facilities — where practice and improvement reach another level. With Trackman at its core, THE EAGLE GOLF is redefining what it means to play and train indoors. This is their story.

Top-Tier Staff.
World-class Tech.
Situated in Sapporo’s Susukino district, THE EAGLE GOLF is one of the largest indoor golf facilities in the world. Opening in late 2022, the facility is the embodiment of golf training — its 19 bays are all equipped with Trackman 4 technology. It’s brimming with top-level coaches and staff and, like the data they glean from their Trackman technology, nothing is left to chance.

A Masterplan by Mr. Miyama
Originally an entertainment facility severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, THE EAGLE GOLF president Masahiro Miyama transformed the business into a state-of-the-art indoor golf experience. Guided by his uncompromising commitment to excellence, Miyama forged a facility that’s pushing the boundaries of the indoor game and offering real impact to his community.

100+ facilities,
100% Trackman
Driven by Miyama’s vision of “Revolutionizing Golf Practice,” THE EAGLE GOLF is advancing a practice reform centered on Trackman. Future plans are equally ambitious. With the goal of expanding to 100 facilities operated worldwide, THE EAGLE GOLF is aiming for 100% Trackman installation across all locations for high-quality and data-driven training environments that seek to pioneer what it means to be an elite space for improvement.

A Common Language Connecting Every Golfer
For THE EAGLE GOLF, Trackman serves as a “common language” that connects players across generations and skill levels, boosting both facility usage and member retention. The venue regularly hosts events and tournaments offering diverse formats and real-time results, while a dedicated team of 10 professional coaches (mostly active tour pros) caters to golfers looking to get better.

Coaching you can see and trust
Facility manager Masahiro Suzuki is among those leading the coaching charge. He identifies key issues based on Trackman data, before guiding practice toward improvement in specific areas. To Suzuki, THE EAGLE GOLF members receive instruction that feels both convincing and meaningful by making performance data “visible” through Trackman.

An Example Others Aspire To
There’s no shortage of success stories underscoring THE EAGLE GOLF’s role as a national beacon of golf improvement. Its efficient training methods, focused practice, and effective data-driven visualization have proven a huge hit. Today, THE EAGLE GOLF stands as a national reference point, attracting facility owners from across Japan who come to learn from its success.

From Intuition to Insight
Where coaching once relied mainly on intuition and experience, Trackman has completely overhauled lessons at THE EAGLE GOLF. JPGA Tour player and THE EAGLE GOLF coach Kota Chiba leverages Trackman data to “visualize” problem areas and clearly identify points for improvement. Chiba underlines that this helps him deliver instruction that enables golfers of all levels to achieve remarkable progress.

All-Season Golf,
All-Round Growth
With Hokkaido a winter wonderland for much of the year, THE EAGLE GOLF has enabled golfers in the region to train and play year-round. In a place where on-course golf isn’t always an option, THE EAGLE GOLF is a winter training base that supports junior golf with the stable indoor environment they need to continue growing. Junior players from the Hokkaido Golf Federation’s development program regularly hone their skills at the facility.

Born in Hokkaido,
Bound for
New Horizons
From juniors discovering the joy of year-round progress to seasoned golfers fine-tuning their swings with precision data, THE EAGLE GOLF is far more than just a practice facility. With Trackman at its core, it’s a model for how the game can evolve. What began as a bold reinvention has grown into a national benchmark, with global ambitions and an influence set to stretch far beyond Japan.
