It was the Catawissa Railroad bridges which brought the greatest fame and were long talked
about by those who saw them or made the trip across them in the days of early passenger
service.

I'm working to establish a 2.1-miles 4.3 miles more or less, bike and pedestrian path using the old Catawissa railroad line from the Station to the Rupert bridge and at Shuman tunnel. I been working on this since 1979 with no outside funds! One of the reasons I live above a garage, instead of a $50,000 log cabin
